Mountain high offers comprehensive coverage of the most important cycling events in the alps.
We're run by a fanatical cyclist so we understand your needs.Whether you're an experienced rider or just starting out you can be sure our friendly staff and many years of experience will help you get the best out of your holiday.
We have 3 chalets (capacity of 10 persons in each) in La Tania and access to many more so space for accommodation is almost unlimited.
The accommodation is possible on a catered or self catered basis.
For transport we have three 8 seater minibuses, so can do pickups from the nearby airports (Geneva and Chambery) and transport cyclists to the local races and famous climbs nearby. For example: Col de Madeleine, col d’Iseran, Cormet de Roselend, Courchevel Altiport finish, La Plagne, Col de Forclaz, Col de Saisies, col des Aravis, col de Tamie, col de Glandon etc.

French Department numbers : 04 Alpes de Haute Provence, 05 Hautes Alpes, 07 Ardeche, 26 Drome, 38 Isere (Grenoble), 74 Haute Savoie, 73 Savoie (most local) Prices vary from 20 euros up to 59 euros depending on gifts given (sometimes good quality cycling shirts), length of course etc. There are food and drink stops for all races. Most races start between 07.30 and 09.00. Prices for accommodation go from £50 per person per week self catered to £180 catered. There are more races after these dates but the ones mentioned below are the most interesting ones and the easiest to access from our base in La Tania (in the famous 3 Valleys ski area, very good walking and other activities for any non cyclists). |
